Chiana is a lost soul,
looking not only to find her self but also her place in the universe. She
is headstrong, acid-tongued and a survivor. She has adapted to her environment to become entirely self-sufficient. A
true self-preservationist and an artful scammer. However under her edgy
exterior hides emotional vulnerability. In many ways she is like a lost
child trying desperately to fit in. She is eager to embrace adventure and
desires to leave her mark on the galaxy. |

to the stability of their culture and beliefs. In an attempt to
re-integrate her back into society they decided to reprogram her.
She escaped to experience freedom and adventure in the vastness of the
universe, but, just like everyone else on Moya, she's a fugitive.
She has the ability to adapt to those around her and to alter her persona, allowing her to more easily blend with who ever she comes in contact with. When she first came aboard Moya, she was quick to size up Crichton and the others for whatever benefits she could wrest from them. However, the more time she spends on Moya, the more Chiana comes to respect them. As they continue their journey together she has found that she has begun to make a place for herself on the ship and she has come to think of Moya's crew as friends, perhaps even family. |
